Personal & Organization

FilesWorkflow offers two types of accounts: Personal accounts and Organization accounts. This dual-account system allows for flexible usage across individual and team environments.

  1. Personal Account:

    • Every user starts with a personal account.

    • Full control over your own workflows, tasks, and files.

    • Can create and join multiple organizations.

  2. Organization Account:

    • Users can create multiple organization accounts.

    • Separate from personal accounts, with independent resources and settings.

    • Ideal for teams, companies, or collaborative projects.

  3. Account Independence:

    • Personal account and each organization account operate independently.

    • Separate workflows, tasks, files, and billing for each account.

    • Switch easily between accounts without logging out.

  4. Creating an Organization:

    • Any user can create an organization from their account settings.

    • The creator becomes the initial administrator of the organization.

  5. Inviting Members:

    • Organization administrators can invite users to join the organization.

    • Invitations are sent via email or through a shareable link.

  6. Organization User Roles and Permissions:

    • Administrator: ā€¢ Full rights to create, edit, and delete content within the organization. ā€¢ Manage organization settings and member permissions. ā€¢ Invite new members and assign roles.

    • Member: ā€¢ Can run private workflows within the organization. ā€¢ Access to shared resources as determined by administrators. ā€¢ Cannot modify or create new organizational content unless given specific permissions.

  7. Switching Between Accounts:

    • Users can easily switch between their personal account and various organization accounts.

    • Account switcher is typically located in the user profile menu.

This flexible account structure allows for efficient collaboration while maintaining clear boundaries between personal and organizational work.
